If you withdraw or are unable to appear for the examination, you must provide advance written notification to the ABEM. $850 of the examination fee is refundable until the Refund Request Deadline with written notification. If a candidate withdraws after the Refund Request Deadline, arrives more than fifteen (15) minutes after the scheduled test start time, or does not appear for the examination, all fees will be forfeited.

 

$850 of the examination fee will be refunded to those not eligible and those without the necessary documentation and references.
