If you withdraw or are unable to appear for the examination, you must provide advance written notification to the ABEM. $650 of the examination fee is refundable until the Refund Request Deadline with written notification. If a candidate withdraws after the Refund Request Deadline or does not appear for the examination, all fees will be forfeited.
