If you withdraw or are unable to take the examination, you must provide prior written notification to the ABEM. $600 of the examination fee is refundable until the Refund Request Deadline with written notification. If a candidate withdraws after the Refund Request Deadline or fails to take the exam during his/her scheduled time, all fees will be forfeited.

 

$600 of the examination fee will be refunded to those not eligible and those without the necessary documentation and references.
